Product Details

Polycell Polyfilla for Wood is a ready to use, low odour, multi purpose wood filler for general and minor repairs to interior and exterior wood. The formulation is quick drying, giving a tough and durable fill that flexes with the natural movement of wood.
Can be painted, stained or varnished in 2 hours (depending on conditions) and fills holes up to 10mm deep in one application. 
The filler will not shrink or crack, and can be nailed or screwed. 
It is water resistant, and can be used for interior and exterior use.

How to Use:

  1. Surface Preparation: Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from dust or loose material. Lightly sand the area if necessary for better adhesion.
  2. Application: Squeeze the filler directly from the tube into the hole or crack. For deep holes, apply in layers no more than 10mm deep per application.
  3. Smoothing: Use a flat tool like a putty knife or scraper to smooth the filler surface. Wipe off excess material before it dries.
  4. Drying Time: Allow the filler to dry for approximately 2 hours (depending on conditions). Once dry, it can be sanded, painted, stained, or varnished as desired.
  5. Final Finishing: Once fully set, the filler can be nailed or screwed, providing a strong and lasting repair.

  • Perfect for minor repairs on doors, windows, skirting boards, furniture, and other wooden items.
  • Suitable for holes or cracks up to 10mm deep.
