Kontrol® Scent Free Damp Krystals Refill

Kontrol Krystal, Anhydrous flakes of calcium chloride (CaCl), have a high affinity to water and readily attract excess humidity from the air by a simple chemical process. When used in a moisture trap the Krystals begin to coagulate (sometimes developing a discoloured crust) and eventually, after a few weeks and depending on levels of humitity/dampness, liquid will begin to collect in the base of the moisture trap. Kontrol Krystals will continue to function effectively for up to 2-3 months after exposure to the surrounding air. For optimum results place the moisture trap into areas where there is a damp or moisture problem, replacing the Krystals when the process is complete. (N.B) if replenishing trap with Krystals, pour away residual liquid down the drain or sink.
Separate and remove top section of lid from the middle section.
Open bag of Kontrol Krystals and carefully sprinkle required amount of Krystals into the middle section tray base.
Gently push lid sections together and click back the simple lock mechanism. Align opening tab diagonally opposite   pouring spout.
Place moisture trap where required on level surface away from children and pets.
Reseal bag if required and store in a cool dry place.
Repeat process as necessary.

How to Use Kontrol® Scent Free Damp Krystals Refill

1. Prepare the Trap: Separate and remove the top section of the moisture trap lid from the middle section.
2. Add the Krystals: Open the bag of Kontrol Krystals and carefully sprinkle the required amount into the middle section of the tray base.
3. Reassemble the Trap: Gently push the lid sections together and click back the lock mechanism. Align the opening tab diagonally opposite the pouring spout.
4. Place the Trap: Position the moisture trap on a level surface where needed. Ensure it is out of reach of children and pets.
5. Dispose of Liquid: When replenishing the trap, pour the collected liquid down a drain or sink before adding fresh Krystals.
6. Store Unused Krystals: Reseal the bag and store it in a cool, dry place for future use.
