How to Use:

1. Preparation: Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from dust, dirt, and any previous coatings. Sand down rough areas and remove any loose or flaking paint.

2. Application: Stir the paint thoroughly before use. Apply Sadolin Classic Wood Protection Paint using a brush, roller, or spray gun. Ensure even coverage, working in the direction of the wood grain.

3. Coats: For best results, apply two coats of Sadolin Classic Wood Protection Paint. Allow the first coat to dry thoroughly before applying the second coat. Additional coats may be required for more intense color or increased protection.

4. Drying Time: Allow each coat to dry completely before subjecting the surface to any stress or moisture. Drying times may vary depending on temperature and humidity conditions.

5. Cleanup: Clean tools and equipment with white spirit or turpentine immediately after use.

Where to Use:

• Exterior Wood: Ideal for use on exterior wooden surfaces such as decking, fencing, cladding, and outdoor furniture.
• Interior Wood: Suitable for interior wooden surfaces such as doors, windows, furniture, and trim.

When to Apply:

• Weather Conditions: Apply when the weather is dry and temperatures are between 5°C and 30°C (41°F to 86°F). Avoid application in direct sunlight or when rain is expected within 24 hours.
• New Wood: Use as a basecoat on new wood to provide deep penetrating protection against the elements.
• Maintenance: Apply as needed to maintain the appearance and protection of wooden surfaces. Reapply every 2-5 years depending on exposure to weather and wear.

Cautions:

• Ventilation: Ensure adequate ventilation during application and drying to prevent the buildup of vapors.
• Skin Contact: Avoid prolonged skin contact. Wear protective gloves and clothing during application.
• Eye Contact: Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical advice.
• Ingestion: Do not ingest. If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately and show the container or label.
• Fire Hazard: Keep away from sources of ignition. Sadolin Classic Wood Protection Paint is flammable.
• Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
