Polycell Damp Seal Has Been Specially Formulated To Seal Patches Of Penetrating Damp On Interior Walls And Ceilings In Just One Coat, Preventing Them From Showing Through And Spoiling Decorations. Damp Seal Has A Matt White Finish That Can Be Over Painted Or Wallpapered If Required.

How to Use:

  1. Preparation: Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from dust or loose material. Remove any existing flaking paint or wallpaper.
  2. Masking: Use masking tape and coverings to protect nearby surfaces, as the aerosol may overspray.
  3. Shake Well: Shake the can vigorously for at least 2 minutes before use to ensure proper mixing.
  4. Application: Hold the aerosol approximately 20-30 cm away from the surface and spray an even coat. Apply in smooth, sweeping motions.
  5. Drying Time: Allow the product to dry for about 4 hours, depending on the conditions. You can apply a second coat if necessary for stubborn patches.
  6. Finishing: Once dry, the damp seal can be overpainted or wallpapered.

Where to Use:

  • Interior Walls & Ceilings: Ideal for sealing patches of penetrating damp in these areas.
  • Surfaces: Suitable for plaster, cement, and stone surfaces that show signs of penetrating damp.

When to Apply:

  • Apply the damp seal in dry conditions and when the room temperature is between 10°C and 25°C for the best results.
  • Ensure the area is well-ventilated during application and drying.
  • Apply before decorating or repainting to prevent damp spots from showing through.

  • Ventilation: Use in a well-ventilated area to avoid inhalation of fumes.
  • Flammability: The aerosol is highly flammable. Keep it away from heat, sparks, open flames, and hot surfaces.
